im piecing together my turbo right now. its gunna be a gt28r running hondata s200 with 440 inj. i have some gsr cams sitting around and heard some great things about them with a turbo b16. theres no internal work done on the motor. but ive seen numbers of like 15 more hp with them over the stock b16 cams. any input please!!!!

itr cams>gsr cams> b16 cams. if you've got them, use them.

define already tuned ecu, if it was done on a dyno by a pro, using something like neptune or hondata, then you'll lean out a bit. if its a basemap chip, you'll be fine.

what is it about the gsr and itr cams that make it better than b16 cams?

so then why not get the crower stage 3 cams?

he has gsr cams in his garage, they are free. crower stage 3's are 550 bucks. and the crowers are n/a cams with too much lift and duration, which hurt power in a turbo car. honda's dont follow the normal turbo cam rule of high lift and short duration due to their very high volumetric efficency at high rpm. the stock itr cams seem to have the nearly perfect balance of lift, duration, and overlap, because there are people making 700,800, even more whp on them. in fact, switching from itr cams to turbo specific cams can LOSE power, and switching to an n/a cam will lose even more.
