i have a plan of attack for a major hiroshima bomb type exhaust swap

for drivetrain i was thinking about gutting out my boring bone stock crx engine and tranny and throwing in a integra gsr swap
right there i should at least have ummm maybe 170
rebuild engine lower compression pistons and other requirements that should make the engine acceptable for a considerate amount of BOOST AND LAUGHING GAS.

drag generation 3 turbo kit for the gsr.... i should easily be able to gain 100 hp from the kit right with the typical I/H/E

redo the entire fuel management and fuel system for a safe and relaiable nitrious express 50 shot (25 to be safe)

after doing all this i should be pretty dam close to 300hp right?
while staying unda a say 7,500 dollar budget???

bottom line i want 300 horse power or dam near close to it in a 1989 honda crx si i might be overlooking a lot of things but if you feel there is an easier route of attening 300 horse power please feel free to guide me in the right direction

this guy has no idea about anything... please before you buy anything or do any work, do a lot of reading, here and especially at other sites like hybridgarage.

well, probaby the same reason people dump money into hatchies....crx's are very very light weight. So it takes less power to make them go faster.

Before you spend the $7500, make sure you are getting the right parts that you REALLY need. Nitrous and Turbo combo is 99% not necessary.
We are currently building a 600HP setup on a customers competition car that is costing about $7500 with a built bottom end, built GSR head, and a complete Turbo setup ready for 600hp.

Research more and contact knowledgeable people before you spend any money. I wouldnt want you to waste hard earned $$ on parts that are not necesarry.
