gsr swap iab threory??

Okay so asking this just because it would be easier than splicing into 6 different wires to just see if my iabs will work in my 99 civic so if I have a programmable shift light that runs off 12v obviously could I wire the signal for the iab solenoid to the shift light and set it to whatever needed rpm be that could theoretically work right please share your thoughts of its something negative keep it to your self we are all adults here thanks

Could just get a msd pill box, just put a different rpm pill in. Dont see why that wouldn't work.

Or just wire it up correctly

Yes I could do that but I don't have the money for ridiculous prices people want for p72 not sure if my chipped p28 was programmed with iab activation but ya I literally just looked all the msd stuff I would need for 110 bucks cheaper than every p72 ecus I have seen and will be cheaper and easier to change iab activation for tuning purposes I think that what im going to do mainly because if I get a stock p72 not sure if stock iab activation would be best anyway because of my cams etc.

It can be added to the ecu to control them i belive
I have a chipped obd1 p72 in my crx
