See if you can get a y8 harness, so it's for that chassis but it has VTEC. Also you need the right ECU (I personally run a P28, but you could run a P72 if you wanted to stay OBD2).I have a complete doner GSR and I am planning to swap the motor and trans into my 97 civic dx which is NON VTEC. My question is do I have to change the harness from the engine bay to the ecu? And can I use the mounts from the gsr or do I have to buy new mounts?
What do you mean?I have the complete integra its wrecked in the rear so I have the ecu compete wiring harness just wondering if i need to change it.
I would take the harness from the teg and install it in the Civic.my teg is totaled i got rear ended so i am swapping the motor and trans and i have the ecu and complete wiring harness for the gsr swap. Do i have to change the harness? Sorry this is my first non vtec to vtec swap
