Hey everyone i have a 97 gsr trans on a 95 gsr motor in a 97 DEL SOL and it will not shift into gear while the car is running. When the car is not running it shifts smooth into every gear. I have a New Fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel, oem honda clutch and a used ACT pressure plate. New OEM pilot bearing, OEM throw out bearing, New shift for and spring all OEM. I have a new OEM vtec b16 del sol shift linkage. Ive bleed the clutch lines a total of 3 times now i adjusted the part on the Clutch master Cylinder that goes to the pedal and you put the pin through to it is closer to the pedal trying that. I got the trans in about an hour go and still wont shift into gear while running. I Put it in reverse and then started the car and with the pedal fully pushed in it jerked and i threw it into neutral not wanting to f**k anything up. Please help. And the car motor wiring and everything is good. Just the trans is f**king killing me.
Thanks Jayden

well for 1, you should never mix and match different brands of clutch and pressure plates.for example, if your using and ACT pressure plate, you should be using a ACT clutch as well. id say it has to do with your combo of mix matched parts. theres a reason why they sell clutch kits. because they work together. if your using the oem clutch you should have just put the oem pressure plate back in.

make sure you put the clutch disk in correctly . when I did mine a mechanic at my work said I'f I flip the clutch over and put it in wrong it won't shift in gear .

Yeah the flat side of the clutch goes to the Flywheel and the springs go to the PP. Done so many clutch jobs its not even funny.lol

did you inspect your clutch release fork/lever when you had the trans out? are you sure you installed it properly?
i had similar issues once where i could not shift into gear. turns out my shift fork was actually cracked and bent, and it was not pushing on the throw out bearing enough to move the clutch.
