GT28R vs GT30R

where at the spooling and full boost points of these turbos and wat kinda of #'s do they put out and wat about the torque curve....cause i have been tryin 2 decide for the past month which one 2 get...please help

gt28r has a low spool point. mine spools at 2500rpm. i can only imagine the gt30 spools alittle later.

Yea. The 28r is super responsive and the 30 will be good for high power levels on a d. You could go gt28rs.

why dont you go to Garret, get their compressor maps online, figure out your output and full boost goals, and figure out which power band will offer more power at different rpms?

without any computations you can tell that the GT30 will spool into its optimum efficiency about 18 or so HP later in the power band given the same p/r... BUT it has a much much larger optimum area which means every additional pound of boost or CFM pushed has an exponential growth rate curve.
