Something is grounding out somewhere. I know it sounds simple, but do the obvious and check all your connection and see if you can find a short. I'm not 100% sure, but the deck might use the same fuse as your guages...

I had a hell of a time on my 6th gen when my lights wouldn't work. I expected a short because I just installed an alarm... It was one of my famous "super-coincidences". A light bulb happend to pop and the filament was causing a short; apparently, it was grounding out inside the bulbs:lol:

Replaced the bulb and I was golden... With my example, you can see how much a pain in the ass troubleshooting electrical can...

Just triple-check connections and don't make a novice mistake and try higher rated fuses like some people do for some odd reason. They are rated what they are for a reason... Good Luck

i didnt want to start a new thread, and i dont mean to try to take this thread over, but i have the same problem basically. i bought my car and it had aftermarket cluster guages, ever since i bought it they would always flicker on and off, i checked and re checked all the connections and fuses, no luck, then one day while i was driving (i still didnt have my interior in my car), every time it went out i would just disconnect the where the fuse is on the power cable that came with the gauges, and then reconnect it, and it would work, now no matter what i do they wont turn on. i'm pretty stumped and im about to say screw it and just get a stock one. any ideas?
