This is just a general question who knows what kind of answer I will get but here it goes.

Taking a stock map on a h22a "any H series"

Will you gain much from re-tuning a stock map,
1, slightly being more anal about making the tune more precise
2, advancing timing a bit
3, increasing the rotery-girderness --- allright the last one is made up but you get the idea..

Thanks.

Btw -- I am by no means a tuner, but have helped my buddy with dsmlink...

You can get some extra power usually everywhere by tuning. The stock H22A map for a hondata unit isn't a stock h22a map, since it isn't written in prelude code. So it is basically a GSR map tuned for your H22. But the simple answer is yes, with proper tuning you can gain some extra power everywhere.

Money to power ratio.. imo not really worth it if you plan on building any time ...
