The h22a never changed. Get the newest one with the least amount of miles on it that is in the best condition.

What transmission are you mating with it btw? I hope you're making it easier on yourself and just doing an H2B.

just found out.....I had already told you to use an OBD 1 ECU...a P72 is an obd 1 ecu

The benefit of the B series transmission is it is a much faster (closer gear ratio and higher final drive) than the H22 slug box. Acceleration will be greatly improved.

IIRC.. Also because the H uses a cable shifter (requires minor cutting in chassis for cables to run and shifter to mount) and not mechanical linkage, and I'm assuming you already have B-series transmission.

You're in for a ride dude. H series swaps are notorious for being a good amount of work. I've not done one, though, so I can't give you any advice.

from what I've found about a h2b swap is that it's pretty much just a bolt in, after some grinding to the block. You also have to dent in the frame rail, or notch it for the alt pulley.

I was going to do an H2b myself, just finding a B tranny has proven to be a b***h.
