H22A secondary butterflies

So, I've been hunting around to no avail trying to find out about removing the secondary butterfly plate from the stock intake manifold. From my understanding you loose a little bit of low end power but see some gains at the top of the powerband.

Does anyone know if this is true, or worth the time?

You can remove them, it just hurts you low end power like you said.

I would just get another manifold if you can.

just switch out the manifold.

H22, GSR and K20A3 have dual runner intake manifolds, though the K20A3 doesn't use a butterfly to actuate the short runners which makes it more effective.
