well i wanted to keep this to put into my hatch, but being severely strapped for cash i am being force to let go.
DETAILS: H22A1 from a 93 prelude, engine is currently torn down, and its the engine only. i am asking 700 bucks FIRM for the complete motor, but i am willing to part it out.
GOOD:
- ran when i got it
- everything is with in tolerances
- good compression across
- block and head have been degreased
- valve cover has been repainted (still undecided if ill let that go)
- original bearings are good, i.e. can be reused
- pistons have been cleaned
BAD:
- needs rebuild (new head gasket, intake gasket, exhaust gasket, and rings to make sure)
- needs new water pump.....oooooohhh
- needs timing belt tensioner assembly, or one bolt that is suppose to go into the water pump housing (still have old t-belt assembly)
- needs to have tps sensor replaced....which i have one, just havent got time to put it on
like i stated above, this is the MOTOR ONLY!! there is no transmission, ecu, mounts or wiring that will come with this. I WILL SHIP NOW!!!!
I would prefer to sell as a whole than part out, as i need the money. certain engine parts may be oily to preserve them so they will not rust.

- 2 oil pans (ones dented an the other i was going to tap for drainage for boost)
- all 4 injectors
- fuel rail
- both camshaft holder plates
- crankshaft girdle
- all vacuum hoses
- drivers side mount
- oil pick up
- front plate (oil pump housing)
- H22A1 dizzy (minus rotor and cap.....currently being used on my d-series)
- all misc external nuts/bolts/hoses/etc....
- all nuts/bolts are with the engine where they came from...everything is accounted for complete reassembly
