now if u have the time on ure hands man, do the h22 swap, weight is not a factor in this swap, as long as its a h22 type s j-spec it will be perfect. i done it in my EG5 hatch, and that little sucker was perfect when i was done, 220 hp@6500 rpm. and thats just stock.but if you race alot like i did you will have to chain the engine to support it more than the aftermarket motormounts you get for it to swap it into the car, if you dont put extra support for the engine it will snap the rear mount and tear the passenger mount right out of the frame.believe me its not a good deal.
but if you have the time and money, do the swap man...there is no way a b16, b18 nor a b20 will be able to pass you or keep up, i blew away a 5.0 on my first race it was close but i showed that f**ker that a little stock 2.2 L had power in a 1800 lb. si hatch can do some damage to a stang, and he said that he had 13 G's into the engine,my ass.
just remember that you have to do some upgrades to the front suspension, first i had some 600lb. springs up there for the summer and then i wanted somthing that i can move it up and down with out adding spacers, so i got an air suspension and called it good but you have to do lots of mods in the rear it you wanna keep dragin.
