yo im doing a Y8 swap with a 99-00 head on a 96-98 block of a d16

i got a p28 ecu, which obd1 convo harness to get or are they the same betwen 96-00

You will go off of what harness you are using.

If you use 96-98 harness you will get the OBD2A to OBD1

If you use 98-00 you will use the OBD2B to OBD1

Watch out tho for idle surge. I got it once I put in my new ECU, is it chipped or stock P28??? You might run into those issues.

If this happens, just unplug the evap purge solenoid.
