so im thinkin im gonna get a sparco bar and some harnesses. i read the post on harnesses, good write up.
but i couldnt find any info on airbags and harnesses. ive heard you dont need airbags if you have harnesses, for safety and legally. cause i wanna get a new steering wheel and a block off tray but not unless i know i can get rid of the airbags without any aftermath.

How would they know if your car ever had srs? lol

And I really don't think ( as far as around here anyway ) that it is illegal...

Ok, I just did some research around the web and it seems 99% positive that it is NOT illegal to remove your air bags. BUT it would be a good idea to make a call to your car insurance co. to check with them. I saw some people's rates raised slightly ( $5-10 ) but no one said it was illegal.

a harness bar is not safe IMO.... with no main hoop the roof will still colapse on you and break your head/neck/spine... full roll bar or dont bother imo...

i live in pa, no inspection would be sweet.
OC a roll bar would be nice, whats the smallest one you can get, you know for the small budget ;)

The one he has was prolly only like $100 more than the harness bar in all seriousness...

im talking safety.. in regards to being safe there is no too expensive...

heres what harness bars are for IMO.. harness bars are for low speed events where roll over is next to impossible (local auto x in a parking lot somewhere).. they are NOT good for any situation where the car MAY roll... like going 60+ on the highway... let alone anything triple digit (100mph +).. a harness bar lacks the main hoop to protect you.. wait till you can afforfd the correct stuff.. the smallest i know is what i have and its a 4 point autopower bar
