Hatch No seats No cover. How to hide woofer and amp for stealth install?

I have a 90 Hatch and I have the rear seats and rear cover removed from it? Unfortunately, I live in thiefville andI was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how to hide my setup? I was thinking about putting the amp under the passenger or driver seat and maybe build a custom box some how. This would be a fun project. I just dont have a garage and I don't want Pieces of s*** thieves looking into my hatch and seeing a nice woofer with a matching amp for a quick grab and smash.

My crap isn't even that good or expensive (used hand-me downs which have been beaten to hell). I just don't feel like dealing with a broken window...

Just thinking if anyone has setup something with stealth in mind...

Thanks

make a custom box for your sub in the floor were the spare goes. hide the amps under the seats. thats what i did. my hatch is stripped and i keep a whole bunch of s**t like towls and jackets and cloths and stuff so ppl think i dont have anything. but you still need to take your faceplate off all the time or your head unit will get jacked.

i would strongly suggest the removin of the faceplate. . . . . im missing my hu and my passenger side window.
i saw this idea for a sub box a while box so i thought i would share.

Cool idea, This particular setup looks like its recessed into the floor, you could then make a filler panel out of the same material and place it in the area when not in use. I think it would be unnoticeable if you could hide the amp elsewhere.

I've got the same problem... I have my box and amp in the back (amp attached to the box)... I'm thinking about making a custom cover for the whole trunk area, cut out some partical board... wrap it in a nice material and there ya go! Until then I guess I'll just throw s**t over it like jackets and towels... or maybe just drape some cloth over it all... damn theives.
