from what i understand on 4th gen hatches 17's fit but if you plan on racing or burning out 16's are better because of the less weight on the outside of the tire. Also with a 4th gen hatch (i realise this is 5th) and 17's you need to have 205(or what ever)-40 MAX other wise you will get some serious rubbing problems. I'm goin' with 16's for mine.

IMO 17's are to big for little hatchs. If your not dumped they make your hatch look high, also they are usually heavier, which means more rotating mass also since they are bigger they change gear ratios. 15's and 16's look at home on the hatchs Also tires are cheaper for smaller rims =)

i think if u got a b.kit, it looks good w/ 17s, ive even seen some w/ 18s, but 18 is pretty good. otherwise, 16s look good.

I have 17s on my 95 coupe, 205/40s, and its dropped 1.5 inches, it looks really good, they don't look too big, but 17s might on a hatch, I don't know

If I had a choice, I'd probably have 16" Konig Blatants wrapped in 205/45R/16 NeoGens... but I don't have that choice...
