Head Gasket

So i need a head gasket? but im confused, I have a gsr block and a Jdm B16a1 head well all the gaskets kits for the head say they will not work with the gs-r block? anybody have any info about that, ppl call my set up a frankinstine and just to conferm, its a B18c1 block and a B16a1 head. please help

If you can, take your old gasket to the parts store, and have the parts guy pull both the GSR and B16 gaskets off the shelf. Match up the one that looks closest. I know with D-Series, you can use just about any head gasket for any head-block combo. I'm not that familiar with B-Series, so that's all I can suggest without giving out wrong information.

ITR B16 headgaskets are all the same. GSR is very similiar , just has a slightly smaller combustion chamber. i think the only difference between them is the flow design or layers.

id take it to the store and compare them like stated above just to be certain i dont know as much about b series and dont want to give you bad or wrong advice so id just compare them to be sure.
