whats the difference between a b16 head and type r head? ... b18c5..............

the reason for this is because i want to buy a supercharger and this guy says its for a b16a head or b18c5 (type r) i would be putting this on my gsr.................. i didnt think the was a difference between a type r head and gsr head, except the internals.... uhh advice?

also, if i use a FMU do i need a larger fuel pump?

I think the bolt pattern for the intake manifold is diffrent. I would say dont use a FMU but if your going to then a bigger pump would be a good idea but not required

The B-18C1 GSR head has a different bolt pattern than the B-16A, B-16B, and B-18C5 do. ITR IM's do not work on GSR heads. If the SC is made for a B-16A head, it will work with a B-18C5 as well.
