headlight and engine problem

Im having problems with my 99 civic coupe. Everytime I start my car and turn on the headlights, the whole engine stalls. The car was stolen and the ignition punch is missing..does anyone got any ideas what i can do?

the wiring might be all messed up man...might want to check that out.

check yoru grounds, and make sure nothing is touching the back of the ignition thing.

sounds like something is grounding out. get that checked out as soon as u can.

thanks for the tips..i made some strides atleast..i changed the headlight fuse and it seemed to be working fine...until i test drived it in the freeway and i found some glitches..sometimes the check "engine light" comes on and the engine seems to stall for a second but keeps running.

Bring it to Autozone and tell them that you need to get your codes read.
