Don't hate on me I did my fair share of searches. I have that yellowish fog (not moisture) in my headlights. I've heard of sanding it off or something but I can't find specific how to's. If this is a repost please direct me to the link, otherwise I need some help. I'm supposed to be clearing my headlights this weekend so I want to do it while I'm in there. Thanks.

You may want to try posting this in the how to's... You might be able to get alittle more help that way. Hope it all works out. I painted/cleared my headlights is past weekend and it looks sweet.

When you clear the headlights you can put them in the oven at 350 max I did it to mine and it was okay. My bro did his maxima at 375 and put one of mine in there and it melted it. You should leave in in for 2-3 mins at 350 and you can pull it apart. I couldn't get the fog out all the way but there is something like aluminum polish by mothers and it gets it clear not off but its less noticable. Good luck

Was it like the outer layer was peeling or was it inside the headlights, just curious cuz mine are peeling on the outside and I've tried everything to get it off or get rid of it. But I have a set of new flat black jdm (style) heads commin!!

I was thinking about doing this, I think might be on the inside though. Was everyones on the inside or outside or both? My lights look clear till I turn my lights on, then it looks like a bunch of little specks and hazey inside the lense.

You know on most neons the headlights look old, crappy, and real foggy, it's on the outside. I've never heard of em' peeling or anything but I got that fog off with about $30 bucks of supplies, but it's def. worth it and you can sell the leftovers to a friend, hehe. Here's the supplies: 600, 800, 1500, and 2000 grit sandpaper, 3M rubbing compound (fine cut), and some Turtle Wax plastic polish, I forgot what it was exactly called but it's in a white and green thing. You wet sand em' with the 600, then the 800, then 1500, then the 2000. After that you put the rubbing compound on, it gets all the scratches off. Then with a damp rag put on the polish. Make sure you have a steady flow of water the whole time your sanding or you'll have to do it agian.
