Supposedly, rumor is going around that there is going to be some major stuff going down in L.A. on May 5. In a nutshell, according to "reports" and "inside info", a Mexican gang is mad at blacks (or some black gang) for some stolen drugs. The Mexicans are telling the blacks that they need to pay up or return the drugs by May 5 or they are going to start capping off black people, innocent or not. They are talking about numbers anywhere from 30 to 400 to 1,000.
Strange part is that this Mexican gang is supposed to be rallying with other Mexican gangs (including rival gangs) to do this.
Now, obviously I'm the last person to be all involved in something like this but I work at a school in South Central/L.A. with only Mexican and black kids and most of the other schools in this area are the same way. We have had mini racial riots here before inside this school and it really isn't a joke. The put the whole school on lockdown surrounded with black & whites, helicopter fyling, the whole deal. Hell, the school even canceled open house and parent conferences for tomorrow. LAPD, non-profit organizations, and other methods of security will definitely be swarming around tomorrow.
Everyone from the organizations we collaborate with is forwarding us the same email about this, but their hopes are high that this is just an urban legend.
PLEASE, EVERYONE, If this goes down, PLEASE don't get involved, I don't want to hear about any of my fellow CC Brothern hurt.
