how important are arp headstuds? do you need them for around 230whp or are they just better to have??
when are they actually needed?

i would use them on any FI setup personally

i lifted the head and blew a HG at only 7psi on my t3

Better to have then to not....atleast get new OEM ones if not arp.

you get oil in your coolant. and compression suffers. i would also get arp headstuds on any f/i setup like ryan said

you can get ARPs for sohc motors for $90

search HT, they are the favored studs in high hp motors
