heat wrap ???

00ok i juss got an apexi turbo and sum other s**t and i need 2 ask a ? i wanan heat wrap the downpipe is that safe to do or would it heat up so much n juss catch on fire or would it b just fine 2 wrap it up thannxxx

dont heat wrap the down pipe. You can wrap the surrounding hoses and oil line if you want, but the pipe gets way too hot

you can wrap your down pipe, thermo tec heat wrap is good for 2000 deg and if your downpipe is getting that hot you would have more to worry about just putting heat wrap on because your motor would be melting down.
