Heater problem

Hi guys,
My heater seems not to be working on 1 or 2, but as soon as I crank it up to 3 or 4 works no problem.

Proble I am having is that on 3 or 4, gets very warm, very quick, so want to turn it down to 1 or 2, so the windscreen does not mist up.

Any ideas??

Sounds like a bad control possibly, but can't you just turn the temp control more towards cool to keep from getting so hot. Not trying to be an ass but it's cheeper for now than replacing the control.

Check the blower resistor. That's usually the cause.

ok, what is the blower resistor, and where do i find it???

Sorry but am a real noob, to cars, but now finally have one that i like, and am more than willing to learn.

What ron said. He knows more about that than I do. A bad resistor could deff. cause that
