hey folks. my name is chris, i'm from a small town in pennsylvania called shelocta. right outside of Indiana, home of IUP. i recently purchaced a 94 civic cx. theres alot of things i got questions about cause i never got into the car just liked it and baught it. now i have been a civic fan for a number of years now and know my fair share, but never looked into the hatchbacks. i just busted up an 88 civic sedan which i loved adored. but now i'm driving a 94 cx that i paid 1200 bucks for.
I dont know if these things came with a tach, all wheel disk brakes, lightweight 14 inch wheels, or the dent in the hood. also, i looked at the specs and its claming 8 valve for the motor, but i had the valve cover off the first day and its a 16 valve, but its got the d15 code on the motor. i will admit the car gets up and goes. its also got eibach springs on all corners.
i also need a few parts for this car for now. there is a nut if you will that is in the rear window that recieves the bolt that connects the hydraulic lift to the rear window. i need 2 cause mine are stripped. the transmission also makes a god awful grinding noise when taking off in first second and third gear. its definatly in the tranny cause it only does it when the car is moving and the clutch is engaged. also the speedo is off way far. its showing 80 when i'm really only doing about 55-60. kinda cool when you wanna impress idiots that have no speed judgement (mustang owner that was talking s**t) but annoying cause i was pulled over for speeding but let off cause the cop was cool.
i know everybody says they have plans for their car.. but thats why i baught this particular car. it was cheap at 1200 bucks, light, and has a nice sleeper look. some plans that i have for it is a b18c1 or turboed b18a2. i love the sound of a blow off valve, but i also wanna build the c1 and crank out about 10,000 rpms, cause that sounds cool too.
