Hello! Been browsing here for a couple weeks and been learning a lot. I have a 2000 EX Coupe and some pans for it. I'm a broke high school student though so progress is going to be hella slow.

16 years old. Save you money pal. Just maintain the car and when you have good job then consider modifying. Just my advice!

agreed. Unless you have nothing else to spend your money on. Just do small mods and maintain it very well. Stereo, new seats maybe. Anything small that's worth making it better. Don't worry about performance until your out of school with a good job. A cold air intake and exhaust is not performance.

No plans of cold air intakes. Really all I'm wanting to do for the time being is getting some new rims and tires after winter. I got a stereo yesterday and probably installing it today. I'd like to do a motor swap and turbo, but definitely not for a few years.

Never underestimate high quality speakers powered by an external amp of you really enjoy music. I have some Polk dxi's in mine. Great speakers and lots of choices there. That's a mod worth while in high school. Otherwise seats out of an integra or del Sol, or many other options = much more comfortable. Just suggestions.

Sounds like your on the right track. Name of the game is save save save. Then when you thought u saved enough, save some more. And do as import said. Never cheap out on suspension or most any part for that matter. If you have a question about its quality, prob not worth it. If you still don't know after that do some research and post here after said research.

I was planning on grabbing TEIN street basis coilovers when that time comes around. I live in Indiana so the ability to bring the car up to stock height in the winter time is a good thing.

Stock ride height is unnecessary for the winter. I live right next door in OH and my car is pretty low and have no issues. My Civic was the same way. I never raised it for the winter. Just put of my crappy rims with winter tires.
