Hey people. ! As you can see im new to the ccivic forum but i was in cintegra forum for a while. Yes i had an integra but had to get rid of her :( . Well i finally managed to save enough for another lovely Honda ( 94 DX coupe ) Reason being was a pretty clean car and price was amazing. Well she has the stock d15 not running atm but thats no problem because im soon to put a b16 in it. This is going to be my first swap ever ( thank god i have knowledgeble friends and my instructors at school are honda freaks. One owns type r ek 257whp and the other has a dc2 h22a est 230-240whp . They built our school sponsored dart b20 tube frame civic with twin turbo pushing over 850whp ( 8.68 - 1/4 ). Here are some pics of my civic. ( bumper off since i started to take off motor. )

Only flaw is a little dent under molding in the rear and clear fading on roof but have a friend whos very good at body work and paint so he'll return it to mint :D

Interior is also literally flawless ill get some pics tomorrow . Well wish you all a great day and take care! :D

Hey guys i have a quick question for yall. Im not that much of an experienced mechanic and we'r gonna do the swap with a few buddies. So my question is , if i buy a b16 obd1 ( car's obd1 as well as u know ) but the transmission is a cable tranny on the b16 i suppose mine is a hydro tranny ? If so would it still swap in with no problems or would i need extra parts to make it work ? Thanks alot!

Welcome to cc.

We ask that this forum remain without questions and just left for introductions.
Since we're already here...if you are asking if your d series trans will work with a b series motor, the answer is no it won't.

Hahahah no im not THAT much of a newb XD. My question was if my d series tranny was hydro and the b series im swapping was cable are there any modifications that need to be done.. But my plans have changed and im most likely going jdm d15 vtec or LS . Ill start a build thread once i get everything going but thanks anyways.

Just google hydro to cable conversion, but like most of those threads will tell you it is better to just find a good hydro trans.

Ok final decision:D my friend just told me he has a ZC DOHC long block ( also has tranny ) he is willing to give it to me for 150! :D It doesn't have rods and pistons because his brother was building it , but he got a b swap instead. So I'll buy that and get a piston rod kit from ebay ( Scat Forged rods with p29 pistons ) The cylinder walls are allready honed and ready to go. So that will most likely be my build. Build Thread coming soon :3
