Hello, help out a Canadian

Hello fellow Canadians,

Let me say Go Flames Go! first.

Now my question...I was wondering if anyone of you knew if the engines of B16A2 (Civic) and B16A3 (Del Sol) had Automatic transmissions...Did they have Auto versions of these cars in Canada?

i know they didnt make any auto B16a2's in US...dunno about Canada, probably not.

Nope as far as i know they didn't have auto available on those cars. If u wanted an auto tranny for a b-series u would need to get an LS integra tranny or a CRV tranny i believe would also work.

if you are set on an auto, you are gonna have to look for one from an automatic sir from jdm land. there was actually a front clip from an auto eg6 on ebay for pretty cheap not too long ago, so there are around, just gotta search around for it

GSR engines came with automatic in Japan
I dont know about b16

Nevermind. Thanks all for the help. Due to nagging parents (may want to drive the car if emergency) they said go for a Automatic. So I am probably getting the D16Z6.

Does anyone know how much it should cost? Do I keep my DX transmission when I swap?

It should cost the same as a normal JDM b18c. There may be fewer of them, but fewer people want them, so I cant see it being any more.

Maybe I should look into one of those base Integra engines...Hmmm...Instead in getting a ZC...lemme see first.
