whats nice being an oregon citizen is you dont have to pay tax in a diff. state if the state complies. also once i can get my hands on an ej1 or ej8 imma be happy as ever b/c this car unfortunately has it issues that total to about $3200 so far i have gotten a new left tie rod and camber kit(need to be installed) and im looking to buy a VSS since is just a $10-$15 part and then seals and gaskets and a few other things. but its what happens when ur mother and her bf wanted to get a 4door just for the purpose of saving a few bucks on insurance not the mention they paid $300 over what it was worth even if everything was mint.
man i laughed so hard when i read that about them getting it for you and paying to much.. when i first wanted to get a hatch my mom didnt feel like riding with me about 45 minutes away to look at a mint condition green Si that was like 3200 bucks, instead as we were leaving town she looked off to the side and saw this busted ass 94 Celica convertable that the dealer ship wanted 3600 for that needed tires and teh AC fixed "but you should get it cause its a convertable, cause girls like convertable" she said so i shruged and was like what ever.... took if for a test drive and she rode with because she wanted to ride with the top down. she was to affraid to let me get over 65 cause it was a test drive anyway LONG story short bought it cash as is, and on the way home i notcied a bad wabble at about 73-78mph, turns out the dam thing needed brakes, steering rack, all new bushings, a motor mount and the trunk leaked something stupid so i couldnt even put stuff in the trunk..... and it was all because she didnt feel like driveing 30 minutes further then this random ass car she saw in the dealers lot.
