just a quick message to say hi to everyone =)

i currently own a 1998 honda civic (5Dr) and it just recently failed the M.O.T :( the things it failed on are...

both rear shocks
N/S outer CV boot
O/S track rod end

my question is basically this.. how easy would it be to do this work myself? i have some fairly basic knowledge of the job but i've only ever watched someone else do the CV boot's and he bought a cheap kit off ebay that was split and you glued it on but the kit i bought isn't and i'm not 100% certain how you fit them. do i have to dismantle the drive shaft and how easy is it? do i need any specialist tools for any of the jobs?

sorry for rambling and thanks in advance.

All or that work je fairly simple i do suggest you just replace axle though since if boot is torn most likely needs to be cleaned out repacked. They are cheap so it's better investment

Welcome, and most of the work mentioned is fairly easy to do and i would suggest replacement over repair. All you need is a little patience and tools. (and some time with the repair manual)
