i haven't heard of this way of doing it...naw, i just bought the relay box for mine...seriously, it took 1 min to put in...no tools/experience required the way I did it, and my blinker/hazards are super fast now.bmoua said:dude..i thought u just had to buy a smaller bulb that puts out a lower amount of watts...i've tried finding it..but..can't do it...though the older model cars car it....u can cut wires and all that stuff but..u can just buy a new bulb...
i've never been pulled over for using a hyper blinker...my friend has one too, and never been pulled over for it.The Grim Sleeper said:Its a great way to get pulled over. Its a sign of a blown light & a reason to be f**ked with the police
yeah,i know...i just figured since the guy who was asking was from CA, it would apply, since i'm from CA as well. The Grim Sleeper said:s**t, here in Va youd prolly get billy clubed upside the head for having it.... state laws differ btw
how much whp does it give?TorGa3iGhT said:i have a hyper blinker on my civic...something like 4-6 blinks/sec...just go on ebay, look up hyper blinker or something and match it with your car. Then once you get it, take out the relay (black box located near the fuse panel under the driver dash), and replace it with the hyper blinker relay. Then it should blink faster.
If you dont know which box to remove, simply turn on your car, turn the blinker on, and feel for the pulse near the fuse box. The one that pulses with the signal is the relay that you will want to remove and replace with the hyper blinker.
