help dome light not working

i checked the light bulb and its fine, i made sure the dome light is ON position, checked the fuses under the hood and the driver side too and no problems found.

check the plug and wires to the dome light make sure there isn't any bare wire in there that might be shorting out.

do you have an aftermark cd player?

yea i have a after market cd player and its been in there for a long time. never had any problems with it.

well when you get rid of the oem deck you have to jump a couple wires, maybe those came undone. they'll be back behind the cd player. it could also be the door switches, manually push those in on each side of the car, they could just be sticking.

ok i found out that the metal clips that was holding the bulb in place was loose and i sand it down just a little bit and it works fine. thanks for the help. if it acts up again ill try looking at those jumper wires you were talking about.
