Help, EX, EK, Si etc

can somebody please help me out here, i am new to this and i am from england, i have a 1998 4 door civic 1.4i. Every where i go i see Ek civic this EX that, but how do i know what mine is?? I am probably being really stupid but any help would be apreciated so that i can know if things are compatable for my car when shopping on american sites. any help will be greatly appreciated... cheers!

well those are just the trim line of civics.. .. here in the USA the differrence in dx, lx, ex, si is just the motor or just stuff they add.

just search online or call one of the dealers there that sale civics. i have an Ex Vtec 98. power everything!

Just check your VIN plate under the bonnet. This will give you your Chassis model. Mines an EK4 (3dr Hatchback).

You can also use the Vin nuber to find out about the factory and trim levels. Just use the 'Understanding Vin Numbers' sticky somewhere on this forum.

Or check the Honda Service book that should have come with the car. All in the front there so you dont have to go outside into the lovely cold weather!

could you please tell me what your chassis code is zeo? i have a feeling it's EK3. . . but please let me know. i'm compiling the civic chassis code list
