1.6el? isnt that the acura in canada? not a fan of that acura look, IMO it looks funny. most of the people on the board might not be familiar with the body because i think they only make that body style in canada. the motor is nearly the same as the canada civic si.

The make the 1.6 Acura el in canada, but it is also made in japan under the name of honda domani. The motor in the el is a sohc so its not the same as the si because the si is dohc. but it is made with the same subfram (or unibody) as the civic so all of the body panels are direct bolt on. The conversion in mt opinion looks really clean. I have the 1.6 el front end coming for my car as we speak. It is also called a honda domani conversion. what you need for the conversion is hood, fenders, headlights, grill, headlight supports, turn signal bulb sockets, and bumper. I believe thats it. I know vis sells the kit for about 2500 dollars. I got mine for 1000 canadian so about 750 american.

im not a fan of those headlights, it looks almost like the jdm one peice prelude headlights from the 92-95 i think. also, in my post i said canada civic si. the canada si = usdm ex and canada civic sir = usdm civic si. there is one rolling around my city with that front end conversion, its a ek orange civic, and it looks funky but its different.

I didnt know the mirrors were different......... do you have a sedan if no the tail lights wont fit. plus even if you had a sedan you need the whole trunk lid from an el to make them match.
