help me choose BOV

i drive a 93 civic Si, i just got a greddy kit, and now am in need of a BOV
i was thinking just a greddy Type S. What does everyone think?

i have a bar and plate intercooler thats getting installed soon too.

If you wanna stick with GReddy, go ahead with the TypeS. Personally, I like the HKS SSQV

i have the greddy type s and it sounds very nice,but now im thinking of getting a turbo xs rfl BOV,they sound very nice.

as for bov - my boy has an s14 and he has the hks, his first one broke and didnt do anything - not his fault, ill let you know how the second sounds - should be here soon.

i got a question i am going to be boosting up from 5.5 psi to 8 psi.... is there going to be a big change in the sound of the bov or does it pretty much stay the same... there is going to be a lot more air going throw it so I dunno if it gets louder or do you have to re-adjust it or what?

It will inevitably get louder, but I think the difference is inaudible.

turbo xs sounds quite good, but a bit to "pressureized" for me. its like you can hear the air being pushed out in a narrow line..unlike the 1st gen dsm bov which sounds totally bad asss. if you are gong for sound over money, then get a greddy.

i like the sound of the hks ssqv also... that's why i bought mine... also cuz the greddy type s is only good for like 450hp... u guys are lucky that u have MAP sensored cars... i got a MAF sensored motor so i gotta take off the fins on the ssqv and recirculate it into my intake.... no ssqv sound the greddy type s sounds pretty too though

i still have one of the old school blitz (the one that kinda looks like a trumpet) its sounds really good i think. but when i upgrade to a newer one i'll prolly get the Tial one.

I am currently using an HKS SSQV with my Greddy kit, love the sound. The Greddy BOV has a nice sound at higher boost levels, but I think it sounds stupid running on low boost.
