Ok, heres my situation, i have 2 amps and a computer. And right now its a cluster back there. (I wont bother hiding the wires until I make an amp rack for it all). I would like some of your creative ideas about what I can do with it all.

Heres what Im working with

:wtf: is the computer for?

and why do you need creative ideas? just build a rack in the trunk in any way you want to do it. it's not like you're hurting for space....

I dont know, I'm just trying to think of a creative thing to do with it all.

Whatever you do, I wouldn't install the computer in plain sight.

yep its windows. and i actually dont have subs yet, but im thinking they'd go in the front, on the left and right, like mounted on the wall. As far as trunk room, I hardly ever use it.

heres a little teaser pic for what the computer thing looks like on my dash

I might try to whip up a few designs later and see what you guys think.

I dont know about performanse shops really. I plan on doing turbo in 6 months or so (or whenver i get the cash) so I havent really looked into it yet.

You can check out www.gaydm.com - Its a car enthusiast site based in KC and they might have some info there.

Hey,

the computer is a standard ATX that i bought all the components of newegg.com. The only difference is I replaced the psu with an Opus 150w DC-DC converter which is basically a normal power supply, except, instead of a normal plug in it has 3 wires, 12v +, -, ign. The ign wire is hooked up to the ignition telling it when to power on. The + is wired to my battery (w/ 15a fuse), and the - grounded to my trunk (basically like an amp).

I'm running windows XP, but in the pictures im running media engine which is a program designed for in car use with mp3s,dvd,etc. And the gps picture is iguidance which is just software that runs of windows xp.

Theres actually a very large userbase that puts computers in there cars. I learned all that I know from www.mp3car.com
