Help me find what I'm looking for!

I've got a 99 hatch Dx which has what I believe to be a full Megan racing exhaust. I'm looking for a quite axle back that will mount to the huge piping that is on this thing! Will a stock axle back work or do I need to go aftermarket? This thing is just too loud! Thanks!

HUGE piping huh? Full exhaust meaning header back or down pipe (turbo)? Might as well just get cat back exhaust and sell the Megan.

I cant imagine its bigger than 2.25 or 2.5" piping. Should be pretty easy to adapt any muffler to that

Have a muffler shop do a step down to a stock muffler

If I had to guess it's 2.5. Header back, and Yeah that's pretty big for a 4 Banger. Haven't had a 4 cylinder car in about ten years and never worried about an exhaust on them. I just don't know if a stock axle back flange will mount to the Megan racing one....

Use the megan one and step down to whatever size u need

So any axle back will mount to it where it's flanged and bolts to the mid pipe? Really didn't feel like hacking and welding if I didn't have to

No it would need to be hacked and welded as you put it
