Help out with HID

One of my ballasts is shot. Does anyone know where i can get a 8000K ballast.

One question. What brand is your setup and how long did it last?

Brand - no f**king idea. I bought it from a friend who bought the kit for supposidly 500 bucks and then he sold it to me for 200 cause they "were to blue". He told me they were HELLA but i researched and found out that hella doesnt make 8000k. They lasted for Oh i would say 2 months.

Also when i try to use the burnt out ballast a clicking sound is emited from it. Perhaps the ignitor is shot?

Weird friend. I wouldn't consider someone a friend who knowingly sold you crap.

for 200 dollar HID's i wouldnt expect much anyway

Thats what he says.............I would get a new setup....your not gonna find to many people who sell these things seperate unless he some type of warrenty which I highly doubt. I kno GUY ON EBAY whos really good on shipping and prices. Lemme know if you want the name. He sells nice kits for 250 or less.

check ebay..anbd u'll find ballasts..
if u don;t find ballasts by themselves then u'll surely find them with projectors...
and u migfht as well byuy the projectors..and can retro fit and use them later...
