help picking out a bulb

i ordered the black jdm headlights and now i need help picking out bulbs,dat have dat bright blue/white look.and i heard about the PIAAs but there expensive as hell .and silverstar just looks straight up white.can yall plz hook me up w/ sum opinions and prices ......and r those 15.00 bulbs on ebay any good

I just bought some Class A+ PIAA bulbs for 15 bucks to my door off of ebay...they arent the brightest PIAA light, those are 50 bucks plus shipping, but they give you that bright blueish glow you are looking for

just buy a pair of new sets of PIAA, better than buying some cheap crap from ebay dat usually doesnt work

Sylvania Silverstar!!! hot item right now. very good bulbs, bright with a bluish white light, just as good as piaa. and its about $30-35 a pair.

I would get PIAA Super Plasmas if I were you. Closest thing to HID you can get.

sylvania? dat aint not no blue nuthin in it as far as i have seen em, u can only notice the blue if u look at the light long nuff to let it hellucinate u.....get PIAA, i shouldve done that

the sylvania silverstar bulb are the hot sh*t right now. ask in any import forum, many people are using the silverstar now. piaa are damn expensive, i went through 3 piaa, piaa platinum, super plasma, and right now im using the piaa gtx on my si. the first 2 pairs i had blew out with in a year. im using the silverstar on my crx and i like it better then the piaa. the silverstone is the same as the platinum but little brighter plus its way cheaper then piaa.

fellow cc member has silverstars on his 95 civic ex coupe and he said that they dont have a significantly better output than stock to justify their price ... here is a pic of his car with the lights on.

Just put Silverstar bulbs in my 97 CIvic and love them. They are noticably brighter than stock and do not stand out. They are whiter than stock if that makes sense.

Love them. Bought them from Advance Auto parts on sale two weeks ago.

Ya, silverstars are much whiter than stock but they dont have the blueish tint like the piaas and the HIDs have

I agree with that. I decided that I wanted a brighter light not one that stood out like a sore thump. I didn't want to draw attention to myself.
