Help relocating aftermarket HU in 99 civic!

Well I know this is the only place i can turn to for a honest question to my answer. So want to relocate my aftermarket HU by my cupholder tray without buying a 96-98 cup holder has anyone done this before or is it impossible?

my brother in law did this to his 96 hx a little while ago. so its definitely possible. im not sure how he did it, but he did do it

Edit: i just read that you dont want a 96-98 cupholder so i don't know if it would be possible

does he have a 99 dash

no he had the 96 dash. but it is a lot harder to do to 99-00 cupholders since that tray is so big. you'd be better off just buying a 96-98 cupholders from a junkyard. Honda made the 96-98 cupholders with the intention of putting a stereo extension in there

Yea i know how to do it that way with the 96-98 cupholder but i just wanted to do it with my 99 one but oh well
