i have a 91 civic cx hatchback and i have been having problems with my sound system. Everything was fine until a few days ago when i lost power to my head unit, subs and amp. i have got it rewired and regained power, but now when i put the volume up high, the volume to the speakers turn off but the subwoofers still play but at a lower tone; this never happened before i got it rewired. when i looked under the drivers seat i found a fuse with the number 15 on it that looked like it fell from the fuse box under the steering wheel. there are a few empty slots in the fuse box and i dont know where to put this fuse. can anybody please help me with that? and does this have anything to do with the speaker cutting out? if not can anybody please help me with that aswell?

thank you very much for your time

as lame as it may sound, have you checked your ground at the battery?? My speakers were randomly cutting out on day and I found that just the battery ground was loose.Went away after I tightened it up. It may or may not be something that simple.

If you have multiple fuse slots open, that fuse could go in either one of those....
