help w/ racing seat bracket

i just bought the racing seats of ebay came w/ sliders but no brackets.... i wondering if any had made brackets before if so what did u do?....or where did u buy them?.

what brand are the seats? if its not a name brand.. there is not real brackets for them.. look on ebay for universal racing seat brackets for your year model car. for the unversail brackets to fit, most likely you will need to do some drilling.

^^^dude but how strong is that??? like i mean if u crash "which ur not" or what if it comes appart or something??? just wondering cause i might do that myself when i get my seats..

well i was skeptical at first but after having the seats for about a month i got tired of them in my room and decided to give it a try. Although i did use 3/16" inch thick hardened steel instead of aluminum and grade 8 bolts.. ive had them in for about two weeks and they're holding up pretty good... when i first put them in i tried shaking them and it shook the car.. not saying that its still say.. as safe a oem but pretty damn good at 15 bucks

exTERROR : whar year civic is your seats? because my seats r diffent then the ones on that threath i cant do it.. that brackets are hold to the seat on the 96 civics.... so im goin to have to build a bracket for the sliders instead...

the only thing about those custom home made brackets is if you have a major accident.. the insurance will most likely not cover your injuries..

the diy brackets will NOT work for all seats. some have different measurements. i tried this on my 92 and there was not enough room to make it work
