Help with damaged dash harness

Hey Guys long story short my lil bro just bought his first car a 96 Civic EX, and I just found out that the wires coming from the cigarette lighter are fried and might have fried some other wires with it as well So Im thinking of replacing that dash harness that runs from the radio to the cluster to the fuse box and my big question is will a automatic harness work due to the fact the car is manual?

Well if you separate certain wires it will. But make sure you properly deal with the wires you don't need. Some will just be wires for leds for PRND when you buy the kit they should be labels on em

yea I figured that as well or if it would be an issue with the clutch switch connection unless that's running on another harness

I'm not too sure but they probably are attached. You should check and see specifically what ones are fried or not. Just cut a wire strip it and test it with a volt meter or just whatever you have. If you got nothing two wires attached to an LED light works
