help with Dome lilght

Ok I think I have some Gremlins in my electrical system relating my Interior dome light on my 97 ex coupe

When I first got the car my dome light didn't work., Sure enough my light was blown. So I replaced the light and it worked. Well 2 days go by and I notice my dome light stops coming on when I open the door. I put the switch into the on all the time spot and it works just fine.

Well a few weeks go by and out of the blue my light starts coming on again when I open the door so im like cool. well that only last 2 days this time.

It has a aftermarket keyless entry/alarm on it and every time I open the door the little blue led comes on that is attached to the alarm system.

Do you guys think this has anything to do with the alarm system that was installed?

Has anyone ran into this kind of problem before and how did they go about fixing it?

i had this problem and i replaced the screw in the light with a metal one and now its worked for a month fine

why has there been so many window/dome light questions lately....its getting really boring lol. anyways,
could be the switch in the door-black rubber thing-mine is going out and it has similar symptoms.
-interesting keyless entry led thing, wonder why they did that. maybe to tell you that the door is open...but i assume that would be pretty obvious lol.

I dunno why the alarm does that. when you open the door the led comes on you shut the door the led turns off and then when you set the alarm it blinks non stop..

I didn't think it would be the sensor in the door because the led still recognizes if the door opens or closes.
