nothing at all? kind of a stupid question but is the battery hooked back up correctly?

it sounds like something electrical

I have to agree with this guy. sounds like an electrical problem. check the battery and the alternator.

damn, I was wondering how hard it would be to do my own install. I can save a bunch of money that way over swapping, because I don't have the equipment to swap a motor

check your distributor, alternator, and battery.

figured out the problem, my friend forgot to plug the alarm back in. thank god, we thought we f**ked up somehow, but it's all good now. got the turbo in, but my boost and oil pressure gauges arent getting any reading. here's a picture of the vacuum tees. does it look right?

tell me what the lines are connected to.
the blue line is the wastegate tapping the FPR and the boost line is tapping off the wastegate line. however, i called greddy and they said the boost line needs it's own source, so i tapped the cruise control line and it still didn't work. i also, reversed the order and it still didn't work. i don't know what's going on. as for the oil pressure gauge, i have double tee the block in order to have another port for the oil pressure sensor for the gauge.

Tee the brake booster line for the wastegate. The boost gauge can be tee'd off the fuel pressure regulator line. If your boost gauge isn't working, check to make sure there's not a kink in the vinyl line...it's pretty easy to get it kinked up and not notice it.

it wasnt the vacuum line that was the problem; i brought it to a shop and they had a vacuum gun to test it and the boost gauge still didn't work. both oil and boost gauges were defective. right now, my waiting for them to replace my gauges, but this time, i'm running the line off a vacuum manifold. in the meantime, i'm ordering a boost controler and having another dyno tunning session and i should be finsh. final total cost is 7 grand

i have the 18G on my car too. hope everything is running ok now. i didn't notice a bov in the pics, which one did you end up going with. post some numbers and psi stats when you get done with the dyno and tune.

everything is great so far. i'll get pictures up when i'm done with everything. i went with greddy type s bov. it sounds great so far, but it'll sound way better when i tee it off my vacuum manifold and increase the boost. right now i'm just breaking in my new CM stage 3 clutch. before that i had it dyno at stock boost with hondata and the result were 190 hp and 142 tq. i wont go back for another tunning session untill my new gauges come in along with my boost control and fuel pump. i'm already in 2g of debt; not what i planned.
