help with installing alpine hu in 96 hatch

Ok so first i got a 96 hatch with the single din sized opening for the head unit, and i bought it with a pioneer cd player and i traded it to a mechanic to put a timing belt on my car and he took it out and left the mounting kit, i got an alpine cda-9851 and a alpine module to go in it is why i traded the pioneer, so i made the connections from one wiring harness to the alpine and i connected it to the car and it worked but no stations picked up, but i cant find anything to plug into besides the white wiring harness i plug into the harness i bought that goes into the alpine harness, so problem 1 is i cant seem to find the antenna in? Problem 2 is i cant seem to get the climate controls out? i tried to pop it out but im afraid im going to break it? i saw the thred in the how to's but the dash is different than mine 1 and 2 it says there is clips but doesnt say how to get the out?
please help my dash is apart and i have no radio!

alright someone please help me get the climate controls out of my civic

pull the lower panels on the dash, i.e the one under the steering, pull the one under the radio/climate control, pull the glove box and empty because it will have to hang down, then start taking out screws in the panels, next there will be 4 screws that hold in the climat/radio bezel, pull them and slowly pull the bezel out and disconnect any wires that will hold it up

ok i got the lower dash where are the 4 screws? are they gold and going with the pointed end of the screw toward the seats of the car does that make sense like they are positioned opposite from the screws i took out in the dash, i removed some like that but it didnt loosen the climate controls and all 4 of these were at the bottom of the dash?

sorry for the late reply, the screws are gold and the pointed end will face the roof of the car

The antenae (sp?) looks almost like a small cigarette lighter plug in...Should be in the dash if you look under/in it.

ya you need to find your antenna wire, its seperate than the wire harness and you will get your stations back. Why do you need your climate control out, I am going to take mine out this weekend on my 96 hb and probably my 96 4-door. I can take pics if you want.
