Help!! With my 89 ef

Plz help my ef keeps turning off while I stop at lights if I put it in neutral and accerlate it stays on, but if I leave in drive it will shut off wen I'm not in motion, idk what it can be plz help thanks

Sir...i think you should maybe check the spark plugs.. oh wait it carbs.. try clean them it probably been awhile.
Since they have been cleaned good luck ..

1) 89 EF isn't efficient as you don't have an EF. EF is from Japan and is right hand drive. You are from the U.S. and have an ED, therefor your information is insufficient for helping to move forward in this tech thread.

2) You failed to put the problem into the title of the thread.

3) Your thread body is terrible to read. This isn't a text to one of your boyfriends. Please take some time to elaborate clearly and put as much information into your first post so those that will try to help will have all the ammo they need to get started. Right now you are wasting everyone's time, including your own.

This information is needed if you actually want help:

What car is it?

What mods have you done to it?

What did you do to it before the problem started?

What troubleshooting have you actually done?

Is it in it's full tuned up shape? If not, give it a full tune up and then report back.
