Help With My 98 Civic Plz!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEONE PLZ HELP i need to know if the wiring harness from the 97 ex is the same as the 99 ex PLZ HELP THX ALL!!!

I would expect they would be the same, they are the same engine and all that, so they SHOULD be the same...

ok now i'm thorougly confused. your subject mentions a 98 civic, but your post mentions 97 and 99 civics.

96-00... mechanically they are all the same, its just the interior/exterior that changed..

MY car is a 1998 red four door, motor went bad
the new motor is from a 99 2dr ex
the wireing harness on ebay is from a 97 ex
my harness wont work so im trying to get a new one hope it works im buying it today!!!!!

96-98 wiring harness are the same once you get to 99 its whole differnt generation civic. That harnes wont fit.

well i bought the 99 ex harness and it wont plug into the GREEN PLUG by the ecu, behind the kick panal how can i wire around this PLZ help if u know any good tech sites let me know

i heard that i can prob wire it by adding wires to the stock harness and a p2p ecu?? <------(what is that?) or a version a ecu i dont know but if ne one can help me find some wiring diagrams for a 98lx or a 99ex plz help

Are u on about the different type of connectors to the ECU?
As in OBD1 and OBD2?
Cos u can buy convertors....
