Hey clubcivic I got a 97 Civic CX replaced thermostat with a OEM one from Honda but it still over heats after awhile and this time the fan wasn't on I jumped the connector and the fan came on and I sorta had this problem before an replaced the switch with a Auto zone one but due to my head gasket being bad at the time and causing air jackets in the water to not triggering the switch. here is a list of what has been done...

New head gasket & Resurfaced head 3.500 miles ago
new Timing belt & Water pump and radiator cap 7,500 miles ago
new radiator and heater and bypass hoses 7,000 miles ago
replaced radiator like 2 years ago

so obviously the auto zone switch is bad (Not surprised) so I just want yaw opinion for me to have a peace of mind that yes I need to go get a Honda OEM switch because I am just fed up because I cant think of anything else

P.s water level is fine on radiator and reservoir and I did bleed it to

Do this^ until the radiator fan turns on twice. It may also help to raise the front end on jacks.
