help with vtech swap.

hey my name is drew and i just got a 99 honda civic ex 5spd and i was wondering if anyone could help, becasue im looking to do a engine swap and get a vtec put in. i would like to put a Prelude H22A 97-01 2.2l DOHC VTEC in but idk if this will fit or not. any help on where to begin to look for this or any vtec that will fit would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well technically if you have an EX you have a single over head VTEC motor.

The H22 will fit with some work. IMO for a "starter" swap any B series would be good considering the 99 SI models have a B16A2 stock. The mounts will match etc.

Do some searching on this site, www.hondaswap.com, www.honda-tech.com and any others you find for some info. B series swaps are very common and there are tons of info.
